Overview
A 22 inch sisal-wrapped scratching post from FDW with a hanging ball toy and a floor-mounted base, sized for kittens and small indoor cats. It measures 11.8 by 11.8 by 22 inches and weighs about 3 lbs.
At 3 lbs and a roughly 12-inch square base, this reads as a lightweight, kitten-scale post rather than a heavy-duty post for a large adult cat that scratches aggressively. The natural sisal wrap is the main scratching surface, and the attached hanging ball adds a play element beyond pure scratching. It comes with a 90-day warranty.
- 22 inch tall sisal post
- Hanging ball toy attached
- 11.8 x 11.8 x 22 in, 3 lbs
- 90-day warranty
Who it's for
Suits kittens and small indoor cats needing a compact scratching surface plus a bit of interactive play. Larger or heavier cats that lean hard into a post may want a taller, heavier-based model instead.
Pros and cons
- Compact 22 inch size fits small spaces
- Natural sisal surface for scratching
- Hanging ball adds play value
- 90-day warranty included
- Light 3 lb weight may tip under a large or forceful cat
- Base footprint is small at under 12 inches square
Performance notes
The sisal wrap gives cats a rough, fibrous texture to dig claws into and shed the outer layer of a claw sheath, while the floor-mounted base and 3 lb weight keep it upright for light to moderate use rather than aggressive full-body scratching.
