Overview

The Power 21100080300E is an 8-pound-test braided line spooled to 300 yards in moss green, weighing about 0.1 pounds on the spool.

Braided line carries a thinner diameter than mono at the same rated strength, and this one's moss green color is meant to blend into weedy or stained water rather than stand out. At 8 pounds test it's aimed squarely at lighter spinning setups.

Line weight: 8 lb test
Length: 300 yards
Color: moss green
Type: braided

Who it's for

Anglers who want a thin, low-stretch braid for light spinning gear and finesse presentations in vegetated water. Not the choice for anyone needing a heavier line for bigger tackle.

Pros and cons

Pros

Thin diameter for an 8 lb test
Moss green blends into vegetation
Low stretch improves bite detection

Cons

8 lb test limits it to lighter tackle

Performance notes

Braid carries little stretch, which telegraphs strikes and bottom contact more directly than monofilament, and its thin diameter for the rated strength lets more line fit on a small reel spool. The moss green color is meant to disappear into weedy or stained water rather than stand out.
