Overview
A Spectra braided fishing line from Power, spooled at 15 lb test with 300 yards on the reel in a moss green finish. It is built for anglers who spool their own spinning or baitcasting reels rather than buy pre-loaded gear.
Braided line trades stretch for sensitivity and casting distance, so it suits anglers already comfortable tying a leader connection. There is no review text on file for this listing, so buyers should weigh the 4.8 average and steady monthly purchases against the lack of written feedback.
- Spectra braided construction
- 15 lb line weight, 300 yards
- Moss green color
- Single spool, 1 count
Who it's for
Freshwater and light spinning anglers who want a thinner line diameter at 15 lb strength than monofilament offers. Not aimed at anyone wanting a single line to tie straight to a lure in clear water without a leader.
Pros and cons
- Thin profile for its 15 lb rating
- 300 yard spool covers multiple respools
- Low stretch improves bite detection
- No leader included, so clear-water use needs an add-on
- Moss green may stand out in stained water
Performance notes
Spectra fiber construction gives this line a smaller diameter than nylon monofilament rated at the same 15 lb strength, which lets a reel hold more line and cast it further. The trade-off is near-zero stretch, so hook sets transmit directly and drag settings need a lighter touch to avoid pulled hooks.
