Overview
Baitmate 535W is a liquid fish attractant sold in a 5 fluid ounce plastic bottle, formulated with bass listed as the target species. Baitmate has sold scent-based attractants to freshwater anglers for years, and this bottle is meant to be applied to lures or bait.
The gold color in the spec data most likely refers to the bottle or label rather than the scent itself, since attractant liquids are rarely marketed by color. Beyond target species and bottle size, the listing gives no ingredient list or application instructions, so read the actual bottle label for directions.
- 5 fl oz plastic bottle
- Target species: bass
- Gold colored bottle
- Single unit
Who it's for
Fits bass anglers looking to add scent to soft plastics, jigs, or live bait rigs. It's not aimed at anglers targeting other species specifically, though many scent attractants get used across species regardless of the label.
Pros and cons
- Compact 5 fl oz bottle size
- From a recognized attractant brand
- No ingredient or scent details listed
- No application instructions in the spec data
Performance notes
Scent attractants work by masking human odor and adding a trigger scent fish key in on, applied directly to lures or bait before the cast. With no ingredient breakdown given here, how strong or long the scent holds up in water isn't something this listing answers.
