Vitanica Iron Extra Bisglycinate Capsules

Overview

Vitanica Iron Extra pairs iron bisglycinate with vitamin C and vitamin B12 in a 60-capsule vegan formula, positioned for red blood cell health support in both women and men.

Iron bisglycinate is a chelated form some people tolerate better than standard ferrous sulfate, and pairing it with vitamin C is a common approach since vitamin C can aid iron absorption. The listed benefit tag of immune support sits alongside the red blood cell health positioning in the title, so buyers should weigh both claims against their own reason for taking iron.

• Iron bisglycinate base
• Vitamin C and B12 added
• 60 vegan capsules
• Unflavored

Who it's for

Aimed at adults looking for an iron supplement in a vegan capsule with added vitamin C and B12, rather than a plain ferrous sulfate tablet. Not the right pick for anyone who has been told to avoid iron supplementation or who needs a higher-dose formula, since that guidance would come from a physician rather than this listing.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Iron bisglycinate is generally considered easier on the stomach than some other iron forms, and the added vitamin C in this formula lines up with the general approach of pairing iron with vitamin C for absorption. The 60-capsule count is a smaller supply than some daily supplements, worth factoring into how often reordering is needed.
