A replacement-style tetherball and rope for a backyard or playground that already has a pole. The listing shows no pole or hardware, so this does not make a complete game by itself.

Overview
Parents setting up a backyard game or a school yard get a rubber-covered ball with a butyl bladder and an attached rope. The soft-touch surface is meant to be gentler on hands than a hard ball.
The ball and rope are the whole offer, which suits a pole that is already standing and a worn ball that needs replacing. The listing names no pole, ground sleeve or hardware, so a first-time setup needs those from elsewhere.
Who it's for
A pole that already stands and needs a fresh ball and rope is the clear fit. A family starting from nothing should plan on buying the pole and base separately.
Pros and cons
- Soft-touch rubber cover
- Butyl bladder holds air
- Rope comes attached
- Youth-sized for backyard play
- No pole or base included
- Pole height and rope length not listed
- Ball weight listing is unreliable
Performance notes
A butyl bladder holds air well, and the rubber cover takes scuffs from outdoor play. How the ball swings depends on the rope length and the pole it hangs from, neither of which the listing states.
