Overview
Not a fixed playground installation, this game stands on a heavy-duty round base and moves where you need it. A black steel pole in three pieces holds the cord, and a yellow and blue Softplay ball completes the game. Stabilizers and a weather-resistant finish are listed.
Getting a playground game into the backyard without digging a hole is the reason to consider it, and the rust-resistant base is meant to limit stains on a lawn or driveway. The limitation is the missing setup detail, since the base filling and total height are not described.
Who it's for
Kids at the listed age who like a quick one-on-one game will use it, and parents get a set that can be stored. The portable base is not meant for the strongest hits all day. Skip it if you need a pole set into the ground.
Pros and cons
- Portable base for moving and storing
- Stabilizers added for balance
- Rust-resistant base limits stains
- Total height not listed
- Base fill method not listed
- Pole warranty differs from ball warranty
Performance notes
Balance comes from the base and the stabilizers, which the listing says improve stability during strong hits. The steel pole is made in three pieces so it assembles and stores easily. The finish is rated for weather outdoors, though the soft ball and cord are covered for a shorter warranty term.
