Overview
A drummer takes a seat on this Latin Percussion cajon and plays the front soundboard, where snare wires add buzz to the slap tones. The body and soundboard are made of birch and poplar, and the finish is a dark wood streak applied in a multi-step process.
Rounded corners and a textured seat make long sessions more comfortable, and large rubber feet help it stay put. The three sets of snare wires give a wide dynamic range. The listing does not say whether the wires can be adjusted, so tuning options are unclear.
Who it's for
Casual players, buskers and students who sit and play will appreciate the rounded corners and seat texture. A player who wants a quiet, wire-free sound or detailed tuning control has little here to adjust.

Performance notes
Snare wires inside the box vibrate against the soundboard, giving a buzzing snap on slaps and a wide dynamic range. The birch and poplar body and soundboard provide a deep bass tone. Large rubber feet stop the box sliding and help the bass note speak.
