Overview
Wahl's Odor Control Shampoo is a eucalyptus and spearmint liquid wash in a 24 oz bottle, formulated to deodorize a dog's coat rather than treat skin conditions. It is alcohol free and sulphite free.
This sits in Wahl's grooming line as a scent and freshness product, built around two essential-oil notes instead of medicated ingredients. The alcohol-free formulation is worth noting for owners worried about drying out a dog's skin during regular washing.
- Eucalyptus and spearmint scent
- 24 fluid ounce bottle
- Alcohol-free and sulphite-free
- 1 year limited warranty from Wahl
Who it's for
Owners bathing a dog regularly for general odor control and freshening, not dogs with diagnosed skin conditions needing a medicated shampoo.
Pros and cons
- 24 oz size covers multiple baths
- Scent-based odor control, not a medicated treatment
Performance notes
The eucalyptus and spearmint combination is the deodorizing mechanism here, masking and cutting odor through scent rather than through antimicrobial or medicated action. The alcohol-free, sulphite-free formula is meant to clean without stripping the coat the way harsher detergent bases can.
