Overview
Bathrooms used in the dark get a warm seat and a soft blue glow from the Brondell LumaWarm. The elongated seat replaces the existing one, plugs into a standard GFI outlet and has built-in controls for heat and the nightlight.
Warmth on a cold seat and a nightlight that guides you without switching on the overhead light are the reasons to buy. Power is the limitation: without an outlet within reach of the toilet, the seat cannot heat or glow.
Who it's for
Cold bathrooms and late-night trips are the setting this seat targets. Homes with round bowls, or without a GFI outlet by the toilet, should look at other options.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable seat warmth
- Built-in blue LED nightlight
- Gentle-closing seat and lid
- Simple built-in controls
- Needs an outlet beside the toilet
- Elongated bowls only
- Short warranty coverage
- Cord length not listed
Performance notes
Comfort depends on the chosen heat level and on constant power, since all warmth comes from the outlet. The nightlight has its own on/off button, separate from the heat controls. Fit relies on the adjustable mounting Brondell describes for standard fixtures.
