Overview
Starting guitar lessons with one box is the idea behind this Ibanez starter pack, which pairs an acoustic guitar with a gig bag. The listing describes it as everything a beginner needs to begin playing.
Convenience is the case for it, since a new player gets the guitar and a bag without shopping for parts. Woods, scale and accessories beyond the bag are not described.
Who it's for
Suited to new players and parents buying a first instrument. Anyone comparing tonewoods or specs will find too little here.
Pros and cons
- Bundled for beginners
- Gig bag included
- From a known guitar maker
- Tonewoods not listed
- Pack contents beyond bag unclear
Performance notes
Sound and playability at this level depend mostly on setup, especially string height at the nut and saddle. A plastic saddle passes less string energy to the top than bone. A fresh set of strings often helps a starter guitar most.
