Overview
Not a fragile hobby model, this Nano Hercules is a gyro-stabilized micro helicopter with a polymer frame, LED lights and a multi-channel remote. It charges through the transmitter and flies forward, backward, up, down, left, right and hover.
The gyro and tough frame make it forgiving for a beginner learning to fly indoors. Battery needs are high, the listing does not itemize the box, and no warranty backs it.
Who it's for
A living room or hallway with space to hover is the setting. Windy outdoor flying and serious hobbyists should look at a larger model.
Pros and cons
- Gyro aids stability
- Tough polymer frame
- Charges through the transmitter
- Flies in all directions and hovers
- Transmitter needs many AA batteries
- Box contents not itemized
- Infrared range is short
Performance notes
A built-in gyroscope corrects tilt so the helicopter stays steadier, which makes hovering easier for a beginner. Infrared control needs a clear line to the helicopter, and flight time depends on the charge from the transmitter.
