Overview
This listing is a single 45 pound rubber coated weight plate from Rage, model CF-WT245, sold individually in black rather than as a pair or set.
Rubber coating quiets the clang of a dropped plate and cushions impact on flooring compared to bare cast iron. Because it ships as one plate, it suits lifters topping off an existing set rather than starting from zero. The listing doesn't specify the center hole diameter, so confirm it matches your bar before ordering.
- 45 pound rubber coated plate
- Sold individually
- Black finish
- Model CF-WT245
Who it's for
Best suited to home gym owners who already own barbell plates and need exactly one more 45 pound increment. Not the choice for someone building a full plate set from scratch in one purchase.
Pros and cons
- Rubber coating cuts noise on drops
- Useful for adding a single 45 lb increment
- Black finish matches common gym aesthetics
- Sold as one plate, not a pair or set
- Center hole diameter isn't listed
- No additional dimensions given
Performance notes
The rubber coating around the CF-WT245 is the main functional detail confirmed by the listing, aimed at reducing noise and floor wear versus uncoated iron. No bore diameter or plate diameter is published, so fit against your specific barbell can't be confirmed from the data alone.
