Overview
Not a full size guitar, the Luna Aurora is a three quarter size acoustic sized for kids and small players. Moon phase inlays on a rosewood board and a sparkle finish give it a playful look.
Small size and a fun finish make practice more inviting for children. Basswood is light but less resonant than spruce, so tone is a step below larger student guitars.
Who it's for
Suited to young students and travelers wanting a small guitar. Adult beginners with average hands will be more comfortable on a full size model.
Pros and cons
- Child friendly size
- Moon phase inlays
- Light to carry
- Basswood limits resonance
- Short scale feels cramped for adults
- Case type not described
Performance notes
A shorter scale lowers string tension and fret spacing, which helps small hands. Basswood is light and soft, so volume and sustain are modest. Setup still governs how easy it is to press the strings.
