Plano Frabill Hydro-Flo Hanging Bait Stowaway

Overview

The Plano 350500 is a clear plastic bait storage box with a removable compartment, built to hold soft plastics or other bait separated from the rest of a tackle box. It suits anglers who want to keep bait visible and organized in one dedicated container.

Clear plastic construction is the notable spec here, letting anglers see contents without opening the box, useful for quickly identifying bait type or color on the water. The removable compartment points to an internal tray that can be lifted out or reconfigured rather than a single fixed cavity. As a bait storage box rather than a full tackle box, it is built around one storage function instead of multiple tray levels.

Who it's for

Anglers who want a dedicated, see through container for soft plastics or bait, separate from their main tackle box, suit this product. Anglers looking for a full multi-tray tackle box for lures and terminal tackle will want a different Plano model.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The clear shell's main practical benefit is visual, letting anglers spot which bait is inside without opening the latch, which matters when switching baits quickly on the water. The removable compartment allows the internal layout to be adjusted or cleaned separately from the outer shell. Being plastic and clear, it will show scuffs and cloudiness with hard use over time, a normal wear pattern for this type of storage box.
