Overview
Not a featherweight trainer, this ball has a foam core with a seamless polyurethane coating and medium density and rebound. The non-sting coating is a proprietary polyurethane, and the ball is certified latex-free.
The extra weight makes throws travel farther, and the seamless coating avoids stitch wear. The description calls it a single, red-only ball, and the heavier foam is not the softest option for young kids.
Who it's for
PE classes, camps and games for older kids that need a heavier ball for throwing distance fit here. Small children and multi-ball sets are better served elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Medium density for throwing distance
- Single ball only
- Firmer than soft trainers
- Not for very young kids
Performance notes
Medium-density foam gives the ball enough weight to carry across a gym, with a firmer rebound off the floor. The coating adds grip and the seamless build avoids stitch failure.
