Overview
A handheld digital luggage scale rated to 110 lbs (50 kg) with 0.1 lb graduation, switchable between lb, kg and oz, and powered by a single CR2032 battery. Auto-off and auto-lock display features hold the reading steady once you lift the bag.
The core job of a luggage scale is simple, so the differences show up in small details: this one's battery cover slides off without a screwdriver, a nicety one buyer specifically flagged after testing several sellers' responsiveness before buying.
- 110 lb / 50 kg capacity
- 0.1 lb / 50 g graduation
- Auto-off and auto-lock display
- Runs on one CR2032 battery
Who it's for
Suits frequent flyers who want to check bag weight at home before heading to the airport, or anyone giving a travel-focused gift. Not needed by someone who only travels with a light carry-on well under any weight limit.
Pros and cons
- Accurate against a real bag's printed weight in testing
- Battery cover slides off without tools
- Auto-lock display holds the reading
- Seller included a spare battery for one buyer
- Battery life fell short for one user after regular use
Performance notes
A hook and strap take the load while the digital display locks the reading in place, so you can set the bag down and still read the number afterward. Accuracy held up in at least one direct comparison against a bag's own printed weight.
