Overview
Assembled in the United States, this Amana NED4655EW front load electric dryer offers a 6.5 cu ft drum and 11 drying cycles; note the power cord is sold separately and does not ship in the box.
Amana's own listing copy for this model is minimal, so most of what's known about real-world use comes from delivery experiences and basic operation rather than a features rundown. More than one buyer flags that the power cord ships separately and is not in the box, which matters since an electric dryer won't run without one.
- 6.5 cu ft front load capacity
- 11 drying cycles
- Assembled in the United States
- Power cord sold separately, not included
Who it's for
Fits anyone replacing an older front load dryer who wants straightforward dial controls without extra smart features. Anyone without a spare 3-prong or 4-prong dryer cord on hand should budget for buying one separately before delivery day.
Pros and cons
- Simple dial controls, easy to learn
- Delivery crews handled setup and old unit removal
- Listing provides very little spec detail
