Overview
Vetoquinol's Aloe and Oatmeal Shampoo is a 16 ounce liquid shampoo formulated for both dogs and cats, combining oatmeal and aloe vera for a moisturizing, deep-cleansing wash. It is free of parabens, silicones and sulfites.
The oatmeal and aloe combination targets general skin moisturizing rather than a specific medicated condition, positioning it for routine bathing across coat and skin types rather than as a treatment shampoo. The paraben, silicone and sulfite-free formula matters for pets with sensitive skin that react to harsher surfactants.
- 16 fl oz liquid shampoo
- Oatmeal and aloe vera formula
- Paraben, silicone and sulfite free
- For dogs and cats
Who it's for
Dog and cat owners looking for a routine moisturizing shampoo across coat types, especially for pets with sensitive skin. Not marketed as a medicated or flea and tick formula.
Pros and cons
- Paraben, silicone and sulfite free formula
- Suitable for both dogs and cats
- Oatmeal and aloe vera for moisturizing
- Not a medicated formula for specific skin conditions
- Scent-based, may not suit fragrance-sensitive pets
Performance notes
Oatmeal is the primary soothing ingredient alongside aloe vera, a combination generally used to calm and moisturize skin rather than strip oils the way clarifying shampoos do. The scent is listed as fresh, and the sulfite-free formulation is meant to be gentler on skin during regular washing.
