Overview
IGroom Deshedding & Detangling Dog Shampoo is a 16 oz liquid shampoo in Mango scent, formulated without parabens, sulfates or phthalates. It is positioned to loosen tangles and reduce shedding while adding shine to a dog's coat.
The shampoo is aimed at dogs prone to matting or heavy shedding, since detangling and deshedding are its two stated jobs rather than general cleaning. Being free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates may matter to owners avoiding those ingredients, though the listing does not note a pH or state whether it is safe for puppies.
- 16 oz (473 mL) liquid shampoo
- Mango scent
- Free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates
- Made in the USA
Who it's for
Owners of dogs with thick or easily tangled coats who want a shampoo aimed specifically at loosening mats and reducing shed hair. Less relevant for owners just wanting a basic wash with no coat-specific claims.
Pros and cons
- Paraben, sulfate and phthalate free formula
- Made in the USA
- Targets both detangling and deshedding in one wash
- No stated dilution ratio or puppy-safety note in the listing
- Scented (Mango), not an option for fragrance-sensitive dogs
Performance notes
The formula is built to loosen tangles and lift out loose undercoat, which is the mechanism behind its deshedding claim, and it is made without parabens, sulfates or phthalates for owners avoiding those ingredients.
