Overview
Plugging this Dell wired mouse into a USB port is the whole setup, with no batteries or pairing. The optical sensor tracks on most desk surfaces, and the light plastic shell suits office and school use.
A cable means no charging and no dropouts, which is what an office desk needs. Low sensitivity and only three buttons make it a poor match for gaming.
Who it's for
Workstations, classrooms and spare-mouse drawers. Gamers and designers wanting precision and programmable buttons need something else.
Pros and cons
- No batteries or pairing
- Light and portable
- Low sensitivity for gaming
- Only three buttons
- Right-hand orientation listed
Performance notes
An optical sensor reads surface texture under an LED, so glossy or glass desks can cause skipping. The fixed sensitivity is fine for documents and browsing but needs more hand movement on large screens.
