Overview
Not a gaming or ergonomic mouse, the Dell wireless mouse is a basic three button optical model that connects through a small USB receiver. Its symmetrical shape works in either hand.
It is a straightforward wireless mouse for office use that works across common operating systems. No sensitivity settings, rechargeable battery or extra buttons are listed.
Who it's for
Office staff, students and laptop users get a no-fuss wireless mouse for either hand. Gamers and power users need more buttons and settings.
Pros and cons
- Works in either hand
- Wireless USB receiver
- Broad operating system support
- Only three buttons
- No sensitivity settings listed
- Battery life not listed
Performance notes
Tracking relies on the optical sensor, which works on most matte surfaces but struggles on glass. The RF receiver needs a free USB port and line of sight helps at range. Battery life depends on use and is not stated.
