Overview
Printing color reports and flyers over Wi-Fi is the main job here, with automatic two-sided printing and a simple two-line display for settings. HP's JetIntelligence high-yield toner targets more pages per cartridge.
HP balances quick wake-up, color output and security features in a print-only machine for small teams. It has no scanner or copier, and listing details such as the toner entry are unreliable.
Who it's for
Small offices that print color documents from several computers get a wireless, duplexing printer. Anyone needing scanning or copying should choose an all-in-one.
Pros and cons
- Same speed for color and black
- Wireless and Ethernet connections
- High-yield toner option
- Simple two-line display
- Toner listing names a third-party brand
Performance notes
Speed is rated the same for color and black pages, and the printer wakes and prints quickly from idle. Duplex handles two-sided jobs automatically. Original HP high-yield toner is designed to stretch the pages per cartridge.
