Overview
Small business owners who want one machine for printing, copying, scanning and faxing get a color laser with a smartphone style touchscreen. A one pass feeder scans both sides at once.
Fax, duplex scanning and a long warranty in one desktop unit cover most small office needs. Print speed is modest and the color starter cartridges are small.
Who it's for
Offices with a few users who want one wireless machine. Large teams will outgrow its speed.
Pros and cons
- Fax, scan and copy built in
- Two sided scanning in one pass
- WiFi Direct for phones
- Three year warranty
- Modest print speed
- Small color starter yields
- Needs generous desk clearance
Performance notes
The one pass feeder scans both sides together, which speeds multipage scans. Print throughput favors short jobs, and documents are kept only in short term memory for privacy.
