Overview
Installing inline on the main water line, the Nuvo Manor system uses citric acid CitraCharge cartridges to prevent scale and loosen existing buildup. Minerals stay in the water, and no salt, power or drain line is needed.
Scale protection without salt bags or brine discharge suits homes where salt systems are unwelcome. Cartridges swap quickly. Results depend on staying within the TDS limit.
Who it's for
Households tired of scaled fixtures and cloudy dishes suit the salt-free approach. People who want the slick feel of salt-softened water will not get it.
Pros and cons
- No salt or electricity
- Retains calcium and magnesium
- Spare cartridge included
- Twice-yearly cartridge changes
- Limited to listed TDS
- Does not give slick soft-water feel
Performance notes
Citric acid binds hardness minerals so they stay in solution instead of forming scale on heaters and fixtures. Cartridge life depends on hardness and usage. Water flows straight through with no regeneration cycle.
