Overview
A shooter setting up for cleaning gets a Gun Boss handgun kit together with a mat that catches solvent and holds small parts. The mat comes with a tray, and the kit is listed for a broad range of handgun calibers.
The reason to buy is a complete bench setup for handgun cleaning, with the mat protecting a table and the tray holding pins and screws. The limitation is thin detail: the listing gives no rod, brush or patch counts and requires a style choice.
Who it's for
Pistol owners who clean at a kitchen table or bench will like the mat and parts tray. Long-gun owners, or buyers who want every tool listed before purchase, should look for a more detailed kit.
Pros and cons
- Mat protects the work surface
- Magnetic tray holds small parts
- Covers many handgun calibers
- Kit and mat in one combo
- Style choice needed at purchase
- Kit contents not itemized
- Warranty needs maker contact
Performance notes
A magnetic tray stops steel pins and screws rolling away during takedown, and a mat catches solvent drips so a table stays clean. Cleaning quality depends on the brush, jag and patches in the kit, which the listing does not itemize.
