Overview
A 100 sheet pack of 9 x 12 inch craft paper treated with sizing so wet media sits on the surface instead of soaking through to the table underneath. Built for classroom and homeschool art carts rather than single finished pieces.
This is bulk paper for repeated projects, not an archival watercolor pad. The sizing treatment is the whole point: it lets finger paint, tempera, and watercolor go on heavy without bleeding through the sheet, so a class of kids can work directly on a table without a mat. It is listed under Watercolor Paper here, but the attributes cover finger paint, gel, marker, and tempera equally.
- 100 sheets per pack
- 9 x 12 inch sheet size
- Sizing treatment resists soak-through
- Works with finger paint, watercolor, tempera, gel, and markers
Who it's for
Teachers restocking an art room supply cabinet and homeschool parents running rotating painting projects will get the most use from a 100 sheet pack. Someone wanting a single sheet of premium cold press watercolor paper for a finished, framed piece should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- 100 sheets covers a full term of projects
- Sizing resists paint soak-through onto tables
- Works across finger paint, tempera, watercolor, and marker
- Sold in a single 9 x 12 size only
Performance notes
The sizing is what separates this from ordinary printer paper for wet media. It slows liquid absorption enough that tempera and finger paint stay near the surface, which matters most when there is no protective mat under the sheet.
