Overview
This is a queen size fitted mattress protector made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester cotton terry, with a waterproof, breathable barrier. It is built to fit mattresses up to 18 inches deep.
It uses a fitted sheet style construction rather than a flat cover, and the fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been tested against a large list of restricted chemicals.
- 80% cotton / 20% polyester cotton terry
- Waterproof and breathable
- Fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified
Who it's for
Fits anyone with a queen mattress up to 18 inches deep who wants spill and moisture protection without giving up a breathable surface. Not a fit for a queen mattress deeper than 18 inches.
Pros and cons
- Waterproof yet breathable cotton terry surface
- Fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified
- Only fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep
- Queen size only in this listing
Performance notes
The waterproof layer sits under the cotton terry surface, so moisture is blocked while air can still move through the top fabric, which is what keeps the protector from feeling like plastic against the skin. The fitted, sheet style edges are what let it stay snug rather than sliding on the mattress.
