Overview
A curved ab wedge made from a PVC leather cover over high-density foam, shaped to support crunches, sit-ups and leg lifts through a fuller range of motion than a flat mat allows.
- Curved wedge shape isolates the abs through crunches and sit-ups
- PVC leather cover over high-density foam resists sliding
- Ergonomic curve supports the lower back during the movement
- Lightweight and portable for home or travel use
Who it's for
Good for anyone doing floor-based ab exercises who wants a stable, curved base under the low back. Not the choice if you need a general flat mat for yoga or broader gym floor work.
Pros and cons
- Stays in place during crunches and leg lifts
- Curved shape supports the lower back through the movement
- Light and portable enough to store easily
- Cover's scratch resistance could be better, per one reviewer
Performance notes
The curved shape stretches the abs at the bottom of the movement and compresses them at the top, while the PVC leather cover and foam base are meant to stay put rather than sliding during crunches or leg lifts.
