Overview
A built-in rechargeable battery drives the daylight-type LED panel in this Kaiser lightbox, which can also run from AC with the supplied USB cable and charging adapter. A touch switch handles power and brightness.
Thin construction and battery power make it easy to move between a desk and a field setup. The scale printed along the edge helps with measured tracing. Runtime per charge is not given, and the weight figure in the specs is unreliable.
Who it's for
Artists, students and office users who want a portable light source with brightness control. Daylight color suits color-true work at home or in the studio. Users who need a stated runtime or a bigger surface should look at larger Kaiser sizes.
Pros and cons
- Very thin profile
- Rechargeable battery built in
- Touch brightness control
- Scale along the surface
- Battery runtime not listed
- Weight entry is unreliable
Performance notes
The LED panel produces light near daylight color, and touch control dims or brightens it for different paper densities. Battery power frees the unit from an outlet, while the cable and adapter handle charging. Runtime depends on the brightness level selected.
