Overview
Airhead makes this Wicked Kwik-Dry NeoLite Flex jacket for infants, pairing a neoprene shell with a foam outer, a zipper and double quick-release buckles. The infant style adds an extra flotation element at the head.
The reason to buy is the combination of stated approval, head flotation and a closure that is firm yet fast to release. The limit is the narrow weight band, which a growing baby leaves quickly, and the title's wording that mixes several age groups.
Who it's for
Babies on boats, tubes and shallow swims with an adult close by. Kids above the weight limit need the youth or child cut instead, because this listing is the infant version.
Pros and cons
- Coast Guard approval stated
- Extra flotation at the head
- Zipper plus double buckles
- Quick-drying Kwik-Dry material
- Narrow infant weight band
- Runs snug per seller
- Care instructions not listed
Performance notes
Flotation comes from the foam outer, with an added element behind the head on the infant style. The zipper and buckles hold the vest on the body, and the crotch strap anchors it against riding upward in the water. A snug fit matters more than any single feature.
