Overview
A color laser engine paired with two paper trays drives this Brother all in one, which prints color and black at the same speed. It connects through Ethernet, USB or Wi-Fi and handles paper up to the listed media size.
Color laser output in a multifunction body is the reason to consider it, along with its network options. The listing gives almost no feature detail, so confirm scan and fax abilities before ordering.
Who it's for
Small and mid sized offices that print color on a shared network. Buyers who need detailed specs to decide should look for a fuller listing.
Pros and cons
- Same speed in color and black
- Two trays for mixed paper
- Ethernet and Wi-Fi
- Large maximum sheet capacity
- Very sparse listing details
- Scan and fax features not described
Performance notes
Throughput depends on the color laser engine running at one speed for color and black, with two trays feeding it. Network performance rests on wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi, so placement near the router matters when printing wirelessly.
