Overview
A single pass scanner reads both sides of each sheet from the feeder while the laser engine prints fast mono pages. Shortcuts on the touchscreen save multi step workflows to one tap.
Wireless printing, fax and fast two sided scanning make it a complete office hub for text documents. It cannot print color, and third party cartridges are blocked.
Who it's for
Offices handling contracts, invoices and forms. Teams needing color output should look at a color laser.
Pros and cons
- Two sided scanning in one pass
- WiFi Direct for phones
- Fax built in
- Expandable paper input
- Black and white only
- Blocks non HP chip cartridges
- Heavier than single function printers
Performance notes
Single pass duplex scanning captures both sides together, so feeder jobs move quickly. Printing holds speed on text, and automated shortcuts cut taps for repeat tasks.
