Overview
CRAVE Grain Free Adult Dry Cat Food packs chicken-based protein chunks into a 4 lb bag, made by Mars Petcare and formulated without grain, wheat or soy for cats past the kitten stage.
The recipe leans on chicken as its named protein source rather than meal or byproduct fillers, and Mars markets it under the high-protein claim rather than a specific percentage on this listing. It ranks inside the top 150 dry cat foods on Amazon, which points to steady repeat purchasing.
- 4 lb bag, chunk-form kibble
- Chicken protein, grain free
- Wheat and soy free
- Made by Mars Petcare US
Who it's for
Suits owners feeding an adult cat who want to avoid grain, wheat and soy in the bowl and are comfortable with a mainstream commercial brand rather than a boutique one. Not the right pick for kittens or cats needing a prescription or weight-management diet.
Pros and cons
- Grain, wheat and soy free formula
- Chicken listed as the named protein
- Ranks among the better-selling dry cat foods on Amazon
- Backed by an established manufacturer (Mars Petcare)
- Only available in this single 4 lb size and chicken flavor here
- No percentage protein figure given on this listing
- Not labeled for kittens or medical diets
Performance notes
As a chunk-form dry kibble, it behaves like standard dry cat food at the bowl, no soaking or prep beyond a scoop. The grain-free, wheat-free and soy-free formulation targets cats with sensitivities to those specific ingredients, though it will not address protein or other allergies outside that list.
