A porcelain pour-over dripper sized for the Kalita Wave 155 filter, brewing about 10-12 oz per batch for one to two cups, not a standard cone-style dripper.
The flat, perforated base with three drain holes is designed to keep the coffee bed level, which several buyers found more forgiving on pour technique than a V60 cone. It is Hasami ware porcelain made in Japan, and it only works with Wave 155 filters rather than a standard basket filter.
- Porcelain Hasami ware construction
- Approx. 4.7 inch base diameter
- For Kalita Wave 155 filters only
- Made in Japan, sized for 1-2 people
Who it's for
Home brewers wanting a beginner-friendlier pour-over than a cone dripper. Not for anyone regularly brewing more than two cups at a time.
Pros and cons
- Steady water flow through the whole brew
- Fits a wide range of cup and mug sizes
- Ceramic weight and heat retention owners like
Performance notes
The flat wave-shaped bed keeps grounds evenly saturated so water drains through all three holes at a steady rate rather than stalling near the end of a pour.
