Overview
The Icepure RWF0100A ships as a 3-pack of refrigerator water filter cartridges built around coconut shell activated carbon and carrying IAPMO certification.
Icepure sells largely as an aftermarket alternative to OEM fridge filters, and this listing doesn't name the specific fridge models or OEM part numbers the cartridge is cut to replace, so buyers need to confirm fit against their own fridge's filter housing before ordering. What the spec sheet confirms is the filter media, coconut shell activated carbon, and a single third-party certification, IAPMO, rather than the fuller NSF 42/53/401 stack some competing filters list.
- 3 cartridges per pack
- Coconut shell activated carbon
- IAPMO certification
- Single pack count per unit
Who it's for
Works for anyone replacing a compatible refrigerator's water filter and buying three cartridges at once to cover a year or more of changes. Not the pick if you need the exact OEM part number confirmed before checkout, since that detail isn't in this listing.
Pros and cons
- 3-pack covers roughly a year of typical changes
- Coconut shell carbon media
- Listing doesn't name compatible fridge models
- No NSF 42/53 contaminant claims listed
Performance notes
The cartridge relies on coconut shell activated carbon, a media commonly used to reduce chlorine taste and odor as water passes through the fridge's filter housing. IAPMO certification covers material and structural testing rather than a specific contaminant reduction claim.
