Overview
Not a pitcher or faucet filter, the GP-RWF0600A is a replacement cartridge for GE refrigerators that filter water at the dispenser line. The listing names the material as copper and the benefit as chlorine reduction with better taste.
A long certification list and four cartridges per order suit a household that changes its fridge filter on a schedule. The listing is thin on what exactly is in the box and gives no life or gallon rating.
Who it's for
A household with a listed GE refrigerator that plans several filter changes in a row gets the most from the multipack. A buyer needing just one filter, or a different brand of fridge, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Four cartridges per order
- Six certifications listed
- Targets chlorine taste
- Long GE model list
- Included components not listed
- Fits named GE models only
- No life or gallon rating
Performance notes
The cartridge reduces chlorine by passing water through filter media inside the housing, so a full seat in the fridge line is what lets it do the job. Certifications are listed but no test conditions are given, so treat them as a label to confirm.
