Overview
Fitting into the Stokke Sleepi bed, this organic mattress pairs a NaturesWeave core built for open airflow with an extra firm polyethylene layer for infant support. A soft organic cotton cloth cover wraps the top.
Shape matching is the strongest argument: the mattress is built for the Sleepi bed, so there is no guessing with a generic size. The open construction aims at airflow and heat release, under a firm support layer. The weak point is care, since the cover is listed as hand wash only.
Who it's for
Owners of the Sleepi bed replacing or upgrading the mattress get a matched fit and an organic cover. Households that need a machine washable cover or a mattress for another crib should keep looking.
Pros and cons
- Built to fit the Stokke Sleepi bed
- Firm support from polyethylene layer
- Open air NaturesWeave construction for airflow
- Lead and phthalate free organic cover
- Cover is hand wash only
- Fit stated only for the Sleepi bed
- Waterproof layer not listed
- Model name field says Sleepi Mini, confusing
Performance notes
Airflow comes from the NaturesWeave open construction, which lets heat move out of the sleep surface instead of pooling under the baby. Firmness is set by the polyethylene layer, so the surface resists sinking even though the cover feels soft to the touch.
