Overview
This vinyl foam mat from Elite Jumps is built to take repeated jump rope and cardio impact, with a textured, anti-skid backing meant to keep it in place on hardwood or carpet.
It is sized as a standard, single mat rather than a modular flooring system, so it suits one exerciser jumping or doing HIIT in place rather than a full gym floor. The listed noise-dampening benefit is aimed at apartments or shared homes where jump rope footfalls carry.
- High-density vinyl foam construction
- Textured non-slip backing
- Rolls up for storage
- Water-resistant, wipe-clean surface
Who it's for
Home HIIT and jump rope users who want floor protection and a bit of quiet under fast footwork. It is not a substitute for a full-size stretching mat or permanent gym flooring.
Pros and cons
- Cushions repeated jump rope impact
- Textured, anti-skid backing
- Rolls up for compact storage
- Wipes clean, water-resistant surface
- Sold in one standard size only
Performance notes
The high-density vinyl foam is meant to absorb impact from jump rope and bodyweight moves like burpees, while the textured top and anti-skid backing resist sliding during fast footwork. The thickness is also positioned to dampen noise and vibration from repeated footfalls.
