More from this brandAll Waterdrop refrigerator water filtersOverview
Waterdrop makes this cartridge to stand in for the original in a GE fridge. It filters through an activated coconut carbon block and a food-grade, lead-free housing. The pack includes install stickers for tracking changes.
The reason to buy is a multi-pack that covers repeat changes on a compatible GE fridge, with a long compatibility list. The limit is that fit is brand specific, and the filter life is not stated.
Who it's for
Households with a listed GE model get a ready supply for repeat changes. Owners of other refrigerator brands, or unlisted GE models, should confirm the cartridge type before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Three filters in one pack
- Long GE model compatibility list
- Activated coconut carbon block
- Lead-free food-grade materials
- Fits GE MSWF models only
- Replacement interval not listed
- Check the model list before ordering
Performance notes
Filtration comes from the activated carbon block, which traps particles and taste and odor compounds as water flows through. Filter life depends on water quality and daily use, so the included month stickers help track changes. A mismatched cartridge can leak or fail to seat.
