Overview
A compact laser rangefinder built for hunters and archers, with a stated range to 700 yards on reflective targets, 6x magnification, angle compensation and a scan mode for comparing multiple targets in the field.
- 6x magnification with reflective-target range to 700 yards
- Angle Intelligence slope compensation
- Auto Acquisition and Scan Mode for multiple targets
- Water-resistant ergonomic non-slip housing
Who it's for
Hunters ranging deer, elk or hogs at typical field distances, and archers who need accurate yardage inside 60-100 yards. Not for shooters who need confirmed accuracy well past a few hundred yards on non-reflective targets.
Pros and cons
- Accurate readings confirmed at 50-100 yards by users
- Angle Intelligence corrects for slope
- Scan Mode useful for judging multiple targets
- Includes CR2 battery, lanyard and lens cloth
- Housing feels cheaply made despite surviving drops
- Display brightness could be higher
- Some clarity loss at higher adjustment settings
Performance notes
Angle Intelligence compensates for slope so the displayed distance reflects true horizontal range rather than raw line of sight, useful from an elevated stand. Auto Acquisition speeds up locking onto the relevant target when brush or branches sit in the sightline, and Scan Mode lets you sweep across a field to compare distances to several potential targets before taking a shot.
