Overview
The Intex Excursion Pro K2 is an inflatable 2-person kayak built from 3-ply laminate PVC, measuring about 12 feet 9 inches by 3 feet when inflated, with removable skegs, a pump, and two paddles included in the box.
Being inflatable is the whole point: it folds into a carry bag rather than needing a roof rack, and it ships as a full kit with paddles, a pump, rod holders, and a phone or GoPro mount rather than just a bare hull. It sold roughly 400 units in the past month.
- 3-ply laminate PVC construction
- Two detachable fishing rod holders included
- Two dry bags plus stainless steel D-rings
Who it's for
Paddlers who want a packable 2-person kayak they can store and transport without a roof rack, and who want basic rod holders for casual fishing along the way.
Pros and cons
- Full kit: two paddles, pump, rod holders, and GoPro or phone mount included
- Removable skegs adjust handling for deep vs shallow water
- Folds down into a carry bag for storage and transport
- 400 lb combined capacity for solo or tandem use
- Inflatable PVC needs more care around rocks and sharp debris than a rigid hull
- No review data available yet to confirm long-term durability
- Rod holders are fixed accessories rather than repositionable mounts
Performance notes
High-pressure inflation with spring-loaded valves gives it rigidity while still allowing quick inflation and deflation. Two removable skegs let you tune maneuverability between deep and shallow water, and stainless D-rings let you tie down dry bags securely.
