Overview
The Perception Outlaw 11.5 is an 11 foot 6 inch sit-on-top fishing kayak with a fold-away lawn-chair-style seat, four rod holders, and integrated tackle trays, rated to a 425 lb capacity and made in the USA.
Four rod holders is more than most kayaks in this size class carry from the factory, and the integrated tackle trays mean gear stays within reach without adding a separate tackle box. It leans toward anglers who want to fish with several rods rigged at once.
- 11 foot 6 inch sit-on-top hull
- Large rear tankwell and front storage area
- Fold-away lawn-chair-style seat
- Made in the USA
Who it's for
Anglers who want multiple rods rigged and ready plus built-in tackle storage, rather than adding aftermarket rod mounts after purchase.
Pros and cons
- Four integrated rod holders
- Built-in tackle trays keep gear accessible
- Fold-away frame seat
- 425 lb weight capacity
- Hull weight isn't listed, so solo-carry effort is unclear
- Seat padding and recline details aren't specified in the data
- No review data yet to confirm comfort or durability
Performance notes
The sit-on-top layout pairs a large rear tankwell with front storage for gear, and the fold-away frame seat is meant to fold flat when not in use. The 425 lb capacity leaves room for a paddler plus a fair amount of fishing gear.
