Overview
A one piece alloy frame and a concave end cap shape the swing of the Easton Elevate, keeping weight down for a young hitter. A cushioned FLEX grip softens the feel in the hands.
Light weight and durability make it a practical bat for youth USSSA leagues. The one piece build gives a stiff, direct feel, which can sting on mishits in cold weather.
Who it's for
Younger travel ball hitters moving to a larger barrel will like the light swing. Leagues that use USA Baseball certification will not allow it.
Pros and cons
- Light, durable alloy
- Larger barrel diameter
- One piece build
- Warranty length not stated
- One piece alloy can sting
- Older model year
Performance notes
Swing speed comes from the light alloy and the concave end cap, which moves mass away from the barrel tip. A one piece frame sends energy straight into the ball and passes more vibration to the hands than a two piece bat. The cushioned grip absorbs some of that.
