Overview
Nylabone Nutri Dent is a rawhide-free dental chew stick sized for small breeds, built with 360-degree textured nubs meant to scrape plaque and tartar as the dog chews. This bag holds 64 filet mignon flavored sticks totaling 30.4 ounces.
The formula skips rawhide, artificial colors and preservatives, and Nylabone markets it as a limited-ingredient, low-sodium chew with no added sugar. That positioning matters for owners managing a dog's diet closely, though the chew is still a treat rather than a substitute for brushing.
- 64-count bag, 30.4 oz total
- Filet mignon flavor
- 360-degree cleaning nub texture
- Sized for small dog breeds
Who it's for
Suits owners of small-breed adult dogs who want a daily dental chew that avoids rawhide and added sugar. Less useful for dogs that need a grain-free or single-protein diet, since the ingredient panel isn't broken out beyond the flavor name.
Pros and cons
- Rawhide-free formula with no artificial colors or preservatives
- Large 64-count bag for daily use
- Sized specifically for small-breed dogs
- No ingredient list beyond flavor and a few marketing claims
- A treat, not a brushing replacement
Performance notes
The stick's ridged, 360-degree nub texture is designed to contact tooth surfaces as the dog gnaws, mechanically working at plaque and tartar buildup rather than through a chemical additive. Nylabone frames it as part of a daily routine rather than a one-time treatment.
