Overview
IHeartDogs Brushy Sticks are grain-free dental chews made with chicken and parsley, sized as 30 mini sticks per bag and recommended for small breed dogs working on plaque, tartar and breath.
The stick shape is meant to use the mechanical action of chewing to help scrape plaque, with parsley included specifically for breath. Because the sticks are labeled mini and recommended for small breeds, sizing is the main thing to check before buying.
- 30 mini dental sticks per bag
- Grain-free chicken and parsley recipe
- Sized for small breed dogs
- Aimed at plaque, tartar and breath
Who it's for
Owners of small breed dogs wanting a grain-free chew aimed at dental hygiene. Owners of larger dogs should look for a bigger stick size, since these are scaled for small breeds.
Pros and cons
- Grain-free chicken and parsley recipe
- Sized for small breed dogs
- Parsley included for breath freshening
- 30 sticks per bag
- Mini size is not suited to larger breeds
- Chews support dental hygiene but do not replace brushing or vet cleanings
Performance notes
Chewing the stick shape is intended to help scrape plaque and tartar mechanically, while the chicken and parsley recipe adds flavor and a breath-freshening ingredient. As with most dental chews, results depend on how often the dog is offered them alongside other dental care.
