Overview
Not a hang-on, this Muddy Huntsman Deluxe is a one-person steel ladder stand with silencers at the contact points. The seat has lumbar support and flips back, and bolted ladder sections form the climb.
A padded shooting rail, armrests and a roomy seat target comfort over long hours aloft, and the climbing belt and fall arrest system add safety. Two different weights appear in the listing.
Who it's for
Hunters setting up one ladder stand per tree and staying for hours are the target. Hunters who carry in on foot should look at lighter stands.
Pros and cons
- Silencers cut metal noise
- Lumbar support seat
- Adjustable padded shooting rail
- Fall arrest system included
- Heavy to move
- Weight listed two ways
- One person only
Performance notes
Silencers at the joints stop metal-on-metal contact, which cuts noise, and the heavy tubing and bolted ladder sections carry the load to the ground. The rail adjusts in two directions to suit the shooter.
