Overview
Kohler designed the Purist showerhead with the clean lines of its Purist collection, threading onto an existing wall-mount shower arm. A thumb tab switches between full coverage, pulsating massage and silk spray, and Katalyst technology mixes air into the water for larger drops.
Air infusion and three distinct sprays give a fuller feel without a higher flow setting, and the MasterClean face makes descaling easier. Only the head is included, so plan the arm, flange and trim around it, preferably from the same collection for a matched finish.
Who it's for
Bathroom refreshes where the shower arm stays and only the head is changed. Buyers who need a complete trim kit, or a handheld sprayer on a hose, will need other parts or another product.
Pros and cons
- Three distinct spray modes
- Thumb tab switches sprays easily
- MasterClean sprayface helps prevent mineral buildup
- Finish resists corrosion and tarnishing
- Shower arm and flange sold separately
- Trim kit not included
- No handheld option, wall mount only
- Spray pattern width not listed
Performance notes
Feel at the head comes from the Katalyst system drawing air into the stream, which builds larger drops without raising flow. Actual pressure still depends on the household supply and the flow limit. Mineral content in the water governs how often the sprayface needs wiping.
