Overview
Kohler built the Elate showerhead as a fixed, single-function head with a wide full coverage spray and a MasterClean face that sheds mineral buildup. It mounts on a wall shower arm, which is sold separately along with the flange.
A low-flow rating paired with full coverage makes the Elate a sensible upgrade for a water-conscious bathroom. Its geometric shape matches the rest of the Elate collection. You get one spray only, and the listing confusingly mentions several settings in one spec line.
Who it's for
Homeowners refreshing a bathroom with Elate faucets, or a building chasing LEED water points, get a coordinated low-flow head. People who want massage modes or a handheld should look at a multi-function model.
Pros and cons
- MasterClean face resists mineral buildup
- Water-saving low flow rate
- Can count toward LEED water points
- Matches other Elate collection pieces
- Shower arm and flange sold separately
- Single spray pattern only
- Listing conflicts on spray settings
- Warranty not listed
Performance notes
Spray feel depends on the advanced spray engine spreading a capped flow across a wide face, so coverage stays broad while volume is limited. The MasterClean nozzles resist mineral buildup, which helps hold the pattern even in hard water. Actual force also depends on your home water pressure relative to the rated test pressure.

Frequently asked questions
How do I clean mineral buildup off the Kohler Elate showerhead?
The Elate uses a MasterClean sprayface with an easy-to-clean surface that withstands mineral buildup. The listing does not give cleaning steps, so follow Kohler care guidance for the polished chrome finish.
Does the Kohler K-33641-G come with a shower arm?
No. The shower arm and flange are sold separately.
Is the Kohler Elate a handheld shower?
No. It is a fixed, wall mounted, single-function showerhead.
Does the Kohler Elate have several spray settings?
The title and model name describe a single-function head. One spec line mentions wide coverage, drenching and targeted settings, which conflicts with that, so treat it as a single full coverage spray.
