Overview
The Vortex Crossfire II 1-4x24 is a low-power variable riflescope with an illuminated V-Brite reticle, sold with a 2-inch offset cantilever mount for AR-platform rifles. It suits close-to-mid-range shooters who want true 1x at the low end and 4x for reaching out further.
Vortex builds it from a single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tube, and it comes bundled with a cantilever mount rather than requiring a separate purchase. Owners consistently contrast it with pricier LPVOs and call it strong value at its price.
- 1-4x24mm, 30mm tube
- V-Brite illuminated MOA reticle
- Second focal plane design
- 2-inch offset cantilever mount included
Who it's for
Suits AR-15 owners who want an affordable low-power variable scope for close-quarters to mid-range shooting, especially first-time LPVO buyers. Less suited to shooters who want mil-dot holdover marks or bright illumination usable in full daylight.
Pros and cons
- Genuine 1x at the low end
- Includes 2-inch offset cantilever mount
- Clear glass for the price
- Illumination dim in daylight
- Battery life reported as short
